[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] SPC Group announced on the 1st that it will conduct the ‘SPC Happy Share Campaign’ with customers to help children from vulnerable housing environments ahead of the summer vacation.
The ‘SPC Happy Share Campaign’ is a program that discovers and supports welfare blind spots. When customers leave supportive comments or share stories posted on the Happy Point application (hereafter Happy App), SPC Group accumulates a certain amount and donates it on behalf of the customers. Since the campaign started in 2017, it has received participation from about 55,000 customers and supported 100 people (33 families) with 100 million KRW.
This campaign is being conducted together with the housing welfare specialized nonprofit organization Korea Habitat until the 9th of next month, and the donations will be used for improving the housing environment for vulnerable children.
Participation in the campaign can be accessed via the main screen of the Happy App or the ‘Sweet Companionship’ tab in Happy Story, and an event is also being held to select 200 participants who leave supportive comments to receive a mobile product exchange voucher called ‘HappyCon’.
Meanwhile, Happy Point is an integrated membership service that can be accumulated and used at about 6,300 directly affiliated stores of SPC Group’s affiliated brands.
