First Program 'Launch' on Shared Platform Established Last Year

6 National and Private Universities Unite to Share First Courses... Busan Area LINC+ Project Group Operates 'Shared University Platform' Short-Term Industry Courses


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A shared platform involving six LINC+ project groups in the Busan area has 'launched' its first lecture program. It operates short-term non-face-to-face industrial courses.


The universities participating in the platform are Dongseo University, Dongmyung University, Dong-A University, Dong-Eui University, Pukyong National University, and Korea Maritime and Ocean University.


The six project groups have signed a joint business agreement under the slogan "Beyond Competition, Towards Cooperation" and are operating various shared programs.


This year, they are jointly operating 'non-face-to-face short-term industrial courses' utilizing the 'Shared University Platform' established in 2020.


The 'i-Korea 4.0 Non-Face-to-Face Short-Term Industrial Courses' provide lectures in five fields?'Artificial Intelligence, IoT/VR/AR, Smart City, Big Data, SNS Marketing'?targeting local small business owners and small and medium-sized enterprise personnel.


This short-term course, which allows access to universities' expertise in popular industrial fields, can be watched free of charge by anyone who applies through the Shared University Platform homepage.


Jo Dae-su, head of the Dongseo University LINC+ project group, introduced, "The non-face-to-face short-term industrial courses are the first joint program utilizing the completed Shared University Platform, offering basic to specialized knowledge in related fields through lectures by university professors and industry experts."


Jo added, "Based on this, we plan to operate various programs for many people, including small business owners, industry workers, and university students."
