[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] Lee Jun-seok, the candidate for the leader of the People Power Party, criticized former Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun, who emphasized Jang-yu-yu-seo (the order of seniority), saying, "Let's remove Jang-yu-yu-seo from the exam subjects," and responded sharply.
On the same day, Lee introduced an article related to former Prime Minister Chung mentioning Jang-yu-yu-seo on social media (SNS), stating, "This is what I mean by fair competition."
Former Prime Minister Chung appeared on a radio show that day and referred to Lee's surge in the People Power Party leadership election, saying, "Our country has a culture of Jang-yu-yu-seo," and added, "(The People Power Party) must be having many concerns."
Regarding this, Lee pointed out, "Last time, when I ran for the Bareunmirae Party leadership election, I prompted the term 'Dongbang Yeui Jigu-guk' (Land of Eastern Courtesy), and this time it's Jang-yu-yu-seo."
He said, "If that (Jang-yu-yu-seo) is included in the exam subjects, the younger generation is excluded from the start."
