The Korea Hanwoo Association and the Hanwoo Self-Governing Fund Management Committee hold large-scale discount events during Family Month in May and on November 1st, Korea's Hanwoo Eating Day, allowing consumers to enjoy Hanwoo beef at affordable prices. In this special sale, customers can purchase Hanwoo sirloin, tenderloin, striploin, brisket, soup cuts, and bulgogi from grade 1 to Two Plus (1++) at discounted prices according to preference. Prices per 100g based on grade 1 are as follows: sirloin 8,500 KRW, tenderloin 11,900 KRW, striploin 9,400 KRW, brisket 5,300 KRW, and bulgogi 3,500 KRW. The minimum purchase unit is 500g.
Online discounted purchases can be made by accessing the Korea Hanwoo Association website or scanning the QR code. Customers who purchase over 50,000 KRW will receive a free gift of ‘Hanwoo Gukbap’ on a first-come, first-served basis.
Kim Samju, president of the Korea Hanwoo Association, said, "As the entire nation is going through difficult times due to COVID-19, we prepared this special online event for Family Month. We hope that through this event, people can purchase delicious Hanwoo beef at affordable prices and enjoy joyful times with their loved ones at home."
Meanwhile, the mobile Hanwoo Love Gift Certificate, which allows even cheaper Hanwoo purchases, will also be sold at a 10% discount on Zero Pay during the same period. The Hanwoo Love Gift Certificate can be used to purchase Hanwoo and pay for meals at our Hanwoo stores. Information on stores where it can be used is available on the ‘Hanwoo114’ website.
