[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] McDonald's Korea announced on the 20th that it will expand the 'McLunch' lineup to 8 items.
McLunch is a customer benefit platform that offers McDonald's signature burger set menus at discounted prices during lunchtime. McDonald's is newly adding two items to the McLunch lineup: the 'Double Bulgogi Burger' and the limited-edition new product 'Double Filet-O-Fish,' which has gained high popularity. The existing McLunch menu item 'ShuShu Burger' has been excluded, making a total expanded lineup of 8 items.
With this addition, the 'Double Bulgogi Burger' set can be purchased at 4,600 KRW, approximately 20% off the regular price, and the 'Double Filet-O-Fish' set can also be enjoyed at 5,200 KRW, about 15% off. McLunch is available every day from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at all stores nationwide, including McDrive. However, delivery orders through McDelivery, Baedal Minjok, Coupang Eats, and others are excluded.
A McDonald's official stated, "McLunch surpassed 1 million sales within three weeks of its re-release, receiving enthusiastic responses from customers," and added, "In response to this support, we hope customers enjoy the happiness of choosing their favorite menu during lunchtime with the stronger 8-item lineup."
Meanwhile, McDonald's will change the conditions for purchasing the second batch of goods, the 'Picnic Set,' released on the 13th last week, allowing purchase with any McLunch menu or all burger set orders until the 26th.
