Among the 3 confirmed cases in Changwon, 2 are under investigation for infection routes; of these, 1 was tested for departure purposes, and the other was tested after symptom onset, both testing positive and classified as cases 4432 and 4439.
The remaining 1 is a family member of a confirmed case within the province and tested positive, classified as case 4440.
The 2 confirmed cases in Jinju were contacts of confirmed cases within the province and tested positive during pre-release testing from quarantine, classified as cases 4436 and 4437.
The 1 confirmed case in Sacheon was tested after symptom onset and tested positive, classified as case 4435.
The 1 confirmed case in Gimhae is related to a Gimhae private academy and tested positive during pre-release testing from quarantine, classified as case 4438. This brings the cumulative confirmed cases related to the Gimhae private academy to 61.
Accordingly, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the province increased to 4,438 (301 hospitalized, 4,121 discharged, 16 deceased).
