Archery National Team Accelerates Training for Tokyo Olympics on Sinan Jaeundo

Natural Environment Similar to Umenosima Park, the Archery Venue of the Tokyo Olympics

According to Shinan-gun on the 17th, from the 15th to the 22nd, for eight days, the national archery team participating in the Tokyo Olympics (head coach Park Chae-soon, 6 athletes, and 8 coaches and staff) is staying at Dumo Sports Park in Jaeun-myeon and intensifying their final training.

Head coach Park Chae-soon said, "We chose Jaeun Island in Shinan-gun for training because its natural environment is similar to Umenoshima Park, the archery venue for the Tokyo Olympics."

County Governor Park Woo-ryang stated, "We will spare no support to ensure that the national team can conduct optimal training on Jaeun Island, which boasts natural environments such as 1004 Museum Park and the Bridge of Infinity."

Meanwhile, amid a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in the Jeonnam region, Shinan-gun has designated a COVID-19 task force, established a hotline with the team, and is focusing on thorough quarantine management, including disinfection.
