Hyundai Department Store Duty Free, Declares Consumer-Centered Management... "Strengthening Customer-Centric Management System" Employees of Hyundai Department Store Duty Free held a Consumer-Centered Management Proclamation Ceremony on the 17th at the headquarters located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Hyundai Department Store Duty Free announced on the 17th that it will introduce 'Consumer-Centered Management (CCM)' to enhance consumer rights awareness and strengthen service competitiveness.


On the same day, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free held a Consumer-Centered Management declaration ceremony at its headquarters located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Lee Jaesil, CEO of Hyundai Department Store Duty Free, and employees attended, and a Consumer-Centered Management Committee was launched to practice consumer-centered management.


Consumer-Centered Management certification is a system that certifies whether all management activities conducted by a company are operated with a consumer focus. It is supervised by the Korea Consumer Agency and certified by the Fair Trade Commission.


Hyundai Department Store Duty Free appointed Park Jangseo, Head of Sales Division, as Chief Customer Officer (CCO) to establish key systems and processes for consumer-centered management, and plans to improve systems to more actively reflect customer feedback in management activities. Additionally, a systematic training program for employees will be operated.


Lee Jaesil, CEO of Hyundai Department Store Duty Free, said, "With this declaration ceremony as an opportunity, we will redefine a new awareness of consumer protection and introduce various systems that can enhance customer value to become the most trusted duty-free store for domestic and international consumers."
