On the 15th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked teacher A without detention on charges of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes and are currently investigating.

Teacher A is suspected of installing two illegal hidden cameras in the female staff restroom at the high school where they work. The school discovered the cameras in the restroom last month and reported it to the police. The police identified A as a suspect and recently conducted a search of their residence.

It is known that A has currently been suspended from their position. A police official stated, "We are analyzing the seized items, including mobile phones obtained through the search," and added, "We will also verify whether A distributed any illegal recordings."
