The subscription market in Dongtan 2 New Town is heating up intensely. This is because various development projects such as the already developed Dongtan Station (SRT) central commercial district, Dongtan Technovalley, and GTX-A are becoming visible, raising high expectations.
Dongtan 2 New Town, developed as a second-phase new town, is growing into a self-sufficient city harmonizing advanced industry, residential, education, culture, and business functions. In addition, Tram Line 2 (planned), connecting Byeongjeom Station to Dongtan New Town, and a double-track railway connecting Indeokwon to Dongtan are also planned.
Given this situation, recent new supply in Dongtan 2 New Town has attracted much attention from demanders. According to the Korea Real Estate Board’s subscription homepage, ‘Dongtan Station Dietre Prestige’ in Dongtan 2 New Town, which was supplied this month, attracted 244,343 applicants for 302 households (excluding special supply), closing with an average subscription competition rate of 809.08 to 1 in the first-priority subscription. When adding the 39,922 applicants (including institutional recommendations) for the 229 special supply households, a total of 284,265 people applied for subscriptions in Dongtan. The excellent future value of the area and the lower sale price compared to surrounding market prices seem to have been factors contributing to its popularity.
Meanwhile, Geumgang Housing is attracting public attention by opening a cyber model house for the ‘Dongtan Station Geumgang Penterium The Siglo’ apartment in Dongtan 2 New Town on the 14th (Friday) and starting full-scale sales.

The complex is a residential-commercial mixed-use apartment with three buildings of 38 floors above ground and 3 basement floors, consisting of 380 households with exclusive areas of 52㎡ and 58㎡. Neighborhood living facilities will be located on the first and second floors above ground. The sales schedule starts with special supply on Monday, May 24, followed by first-priority subscription on Tuesday, May 25. The announcement of winners will be on Tuesday, June 1, and the official contract period will be held for four days from Monday, June 14 to Thursday, June 17.
First-priority subscription is available to household heads with no home or one home, who have held a subscription savings account for more than two years and meet the regional deposit requirements. The sale price has been set lower than the surrounding market prices due to the sale price ceiling system. The regional allocation ratio is 30% for residents of Hwaseong City with more than two years of residence, 20% for residents of Gyeonggi Province with more than two years of residence, and 50% for other metropolitan area residents and those residing in Gyeonggi Province for less than two years.
Dongtan Station Geumgang Penterium The Siglo is designed mainly with a south-facing plate-type structure to ensure good lighting and ventilation for all households. A dressing room will be placed in the master bedroom, and a storage room at the entrance will be provided to increase space utilization. A home network system will be applied that displays weather, temperature, and fine dust information, as well as functions such as unified light-off, gas shut-off, and elevator call. Various community facilities such as a fitness center, kids center, and resting spaces for the elderly will also be provided.

The officetel will be composed of 1.5-room and 2-room types, and will be supplied with ample space by applying terraces and loft designs called “Nudarak” (except for some units).
