The 'Visiting Breweries' project supports the development of experiential events at excellent local breweries, helping them grow into tourist attractions linked from traditional liquor production to experience and tourism.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs selected four breweries nationwide, including Hamyang-gun's 'Hamiang', through a strict document review and on-site evaluation by experts of 19 breweries recommended from nine cities and provinces across the country this year.
'Hamiang', located in Hamyang-eup, Hamyang-gun, is a European-style wild mountain grape wine-themed farm experiential tourism brewery utilizing wild mountain grapes native to Hamyang-gun.
Lee Sangin, CEO of 'Hamiang', has contributed to increasing farmers' income and revitalizing the rural economy by purchasing all wild mountain grapes as wine raw materials since 2000.
