Seoul Digital University and Onma Co., Ltd. have signed an industry consignment education agreement, under which Onma employees will receive full exemption from the admission fee and partial tuition scholarships each semester upon enrollment.
Previously, Seoul Digital University was selected by the Ministry of Education as a leading university for smart learning implementation and operation, providing opportunities for professional development of industry workers and supporting graduate school admission after graduation through lectures without time and space constraints.
There are 30 undergraduate degree programs for new and transfer admissions, including Business Administration, Tax Accounting, Legal Administration, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Media and Video Studies, Design, Creative Writing, and 39 certification programs. Flexible academic systems such as early graduation within one year, double majors, and department transfers are operated.
In addition, Seoul Digital University has established an international exchange network with overseas governments and universities in the United States, Japan, China, as well as a credit exchange alliance network with 72 universities nationwide including Seoul National University of Education, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Korea Aerospace University.

We hope that through taking various major and certification courses, students can become theoretical experts in addition to practical professionals in the field. We also wish this cooperation to be an opportunity for both institutions to pursue growth and prosperity together.”
CEO Jung Un-hwa of Onma Co., Ltd. said, “Mencius said, 불위야 비불능야 (不爲也 非不能也), meaning it is not that one cannot do something, but that one does not do it. We want to create a company where all employees are respected, enhance their expertise in their respective work areas, and willingly support employees who aspire to become executives in obtaining master’s and doctoral degrees.”
Seoul Digital University has agreements with over 1,250 organizations including central government ministries such as the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, National Police Agency, National Tax Service, Korean Intellectual Property Office, Defense Acquisition Program Administration, as well as public institutions and industries including Samsung, LG, SK, GS headquarters and affiliates, providing various scholarship benefits. In addition to on-campus scholarships, there are national scholarships that are awarded differentially based on income levels.
Meanwhile, Seoul Digital University boasts a 51.8% admission rate to prestigious domestic and international graduate schools such as Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University, and Sogang University, and was the first cyber university to produce successful candidates for the judicial examination, certified public accountant exam, and law school admissions. Furthermore, it has sisterhood agreements with 14 graduate schools including University of North Carolina, Kyung Hee University, Ajou University, and Sejong University. Onma employees who have earned degrees from Seoul Digital University can receive tuition scholarships ranging from 10% to 50% each semester when enrolling in these sister graduate schools.
