[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Seo Young-seo] Yeongam Fire Station (Chief Im Dong-hyun) announced on the 13th that it will promote a "Construction Site Fire Safety Photo Exhibition" to raise fire awareness among construction site personnel and workers, as fires caused by welding sparks at construction sites continue to occur.
Yeongam Fire Station has produced large banners featuring photos of fire accidents and safety rules for welding work, and will operate photo exhibitions at two large construction sites in the jurisdiction.
Accordingly, construction site supervisors will use the large banners to educate construction site workers daily on fire safety and safety rules during welding work.
Construction site supervisors also responded positively to the photo exhibition, stating they would "actively participate."
A fire station official said, "Most fires at large construction sites are caused by welding," and added, "We will promote the construction site fire safety photo exhibition to actively raise awareness of the dangers of welding work."
