It is analyzed that the concept of a 'Live Personalized Shopping Platform,' which organically connects TV and mobile to provide a personalized shopping experience, was key to capturing customers' hearts.
Promotions such as '50% Payback,' 'Raffle Event,' and 'First Meeting Gift' attracted many customers, resulting in a 43% increase in the number of orders and a 61% increase in order quantity through the mobile app compared to the same period last year. The number of mobile app users more than doubled compared to before the launch.
With a significant increase in customers making their first purchase using the mobile app, the total number of mobile app order customers for CJ OnStyle from the 10th to the 12th increased by 43% compared to the same period last year. Among app order customers, about 70% were aged 35 to 54, CJ OnStyle's core target demographic. The order quantity through the mobile app increased by 61% year-on-year, and customers making their first purchase via the app also rose by approximately 60% compared to the same period last year.
Customer response to the launch events was also enthusiastic. The 'Lucky Draw' event, which offered prizes to a total of 2,000 people, attracted 115,000 customers. The grand prize winner received a Chanel mini bag (Chanel Mini Coco Handle Black Caviar Gold), three second-place winners received the Danish lighting brand Louis Poulsen Panthella Mini (Chrome), and five third-place winners received Tiffany pendant necklaces, among other prizes.
The First Meeting Gift event, which provided an Odense tea cup set to the first 500 customers who purchased over 100,000 KRW each day, sold out in an average of just 7 seconds throughout the three days of the event, achieving great success. The 50% Payback event, which returned half the purchase amount to the first 10,000 customers daily, also sold out in less than 1 minute and 30 seconds.
