Case 2562 is a member of the church where case 2523 attended worship. After case 2523 was confirmed positive on the 11th, a full investigation was conducted on the church members, resulting in a total of seven confirmed cases including case 2562.
Case 2563 is an employee at Kia Motors and a colleague of case 2544, who was previously confirmed positive. Case 2544 was confirmed the day before, and the infection route has not yet been identified. So far, four people at Kia Motors have tested positive.
Meanwhile, in the Gwangju area, the number of daily COVID-19 confirmed cases has remained in the 20s for three consecutive days.
As of now, the total number of tests conducted has surpassed one million, reaching 1,075,775, with 6,475 people currently awaiting results.
Among the total 2,563 confirmed cases, 2,404 have recovered and been discharged, 137 are undergoing treatment, and 22 have died.
