[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Air Busan "sky route" between Busan and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, which was blocked due to COVID-19, will temporarily open once.

Air Busan (CEO Ahn Byung-seok) announced on the 13th that it will operate a non-scheduled flight from Busan to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on the 15th.

Air Busan decided to operate this flight for corporate passengers, Korean residents, and foreign workers who must travel between Busan and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The flight on the 15th will depart from Gimhae International Airport at 6 PM and arrive at Ulaanbaatar local airport at 9 PM, and the return flight will depart from the local airport at 1 AM and arrive at Incheon International Airport at 5:10 AM.

An Air Busan official said, "Since international flights are not operating smoothly due to COVID-19, we are operating one-time non-scheduled flights after identifying essential travel demand for each route."

Air Busan plans to operate a thorough quarantine system and transport passengers safely in response to COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Air Busan launched regular flights connecting Busan and Ulaanbaatar in June 2016 and operated 2 to 4 times a week until the route was suspended due to COVID-19.
