Gyeongnam Province Recruiting Participants for Expert Training in Auto Repair and Battery Manufacturing Industries

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] S-Cube, the only startup-linked specialized creative activity space in Gyeongnam, is recruiting participants for the first session of this year's automobile maintenance activation program until the 28th.

This program supports maker space facilities, equipment, and customized expert consultations to revitalize the automobile maintenance industry in the Gyeongnam region and to cultivate experts in vehicle battery packs.

Recently, camping using automobiles has gained popularity due to COVID-19, increasing demand for installing battery packs in vehicles. However, in Korea, only automobile maintenance shops can install battery packs, and there are no specialized companies for vehicle battery pack installation.

Accordingly, S-Cube is launching this expert training program to cultivate specialists in manufacturing and installing vehicle battery packs, create new revenue structures, and ultimately enable startups.

The program will select 10 participants per session and will be conducted over a total of three sessions.

The participant fee, including material costs, is 700,000 KRW. Eligible applicants are those holding business registration certificates in related industries such as automobile maintenance shops or battery manufacturing in the Gyeongnam region, or personnel affiliated with related companies. The 2nd and 3rd sessions will be recruited sequentially.

Selected participants will attend training for 4 hours on Saturdays and Sundays over 4 weeks starting in June at the S-Cube specialized equipment room located in Palyong-dong, Uichang-gu, Changwon.

After completing the training, participants can receive expert consultation support during the initial production of battery pack prototypes and commercialization processes.

Detailed information and application methods for this program can be found on the Gyeongnam Technopark S-Cube website.
