HMM explained that it has utilized its global network to recently communicate this information to its sales offices worldwide and has completed preparations to actively support this effort.
The main medical supplies include medical oxygen, oxygen tanks, oxygen cylinders, portable oxygen generators, oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, and related equipment. In addition, all oxygen-related medical supplies for COVID-19 treatment are included.
An HMM official stated, “Although there is a continuing global shortage of vessels and shipping space, the shipment of emergency relief goods such as medical supplies for COVID-19 treatment must be prioritized,” adding, “As a leading domestic national deep-sea shipping company, we will fulfill our social responsibility by leveraging the expertise and characteristics of a shipping company.”
Meanwhile, India has recorded daily new COVID-19 cases in the 400,000 range for four consecutive days since the 6th. According to the Indian Ministry of Health, as of the 11th, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases is approximately 22.99 million, with the death toll reported at 249,992.
