Seoul Startup Hub Promotes Southeast Asia Testbed Entry Program for Innovative Tech Startups with Killsa Global

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Singapore and Indonesia, representative countries in Southeast Asia, are becoming stages where innovative technologies of our startups can debut. Seoul Startup Hub (CEO Jang Young-seung) announced on the 12th that it has partnered with global hub partner Kilsaglobal to promote a testbed project using Singapore and Indonesia as global scale-up stages for our startups.

This project supports the purchase and installation of necessary equipment and local project management to carry out local testbed projects with government agencies and private companies in Singapore and Indonesia, targeting promising startups based in Seoul. The selected startups are Mbiome, a startup specializing in vehicle hygiene and air care; Pathos, an intelligent mobility tech startup; and Pixelscope, a sports vision and data specialist startup. From June to September, they will conduct proof of concept (PoC) testbed projects and receive a total of 20 million KRW in project support funds.

Seoul Startup Hub is promoting PoC projects worldwide through overseas public-private networks, including Spain, Singapore, and Indonesia, and plans to further accelerate support for startup globalization. Lee Tae-hoon, Head of the Startup Division at Seoul Business Agency, stated, "As the number of startups aiming for global expansion is gradually increasing, practical support for them must be provided. The localization support project in Singapore and Indonesia conducted together with Kilsaglobal this time is based on local projects, so it is expected to contribute to successful overseas expansion through clear and targeted support for each company."
