[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On the 12th, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Yoo Eun-hye held a meeting at the Government Sejong Complex with heads of seven social policy research institutes, including the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training, Korea Development Institute, Korea Labor Institute, Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs, Korean Women's Development Institute, Korea Youth Policy Institute, and Korea Educational Development Institute.

At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Yoo shared the achievements of the Moon Jae-in administration's inclusive national social policies and discussed key tasks to complete government projects.

In the final stage of the government, a review system will be established to assess the policies implemented so far, supplement any shortcomings, and build a robust social safety net.

They will seek ways to proactively prepare for social changes and shocks after COVID-19 and support citizens to live safely in a fair society.

Deputy Prime Minister Yoo said, "Supporting socially vulnerable groups is more important than anything else due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," adding, "We will closely cooperate with social policy research institutes to ensure no citizens are left in policy blind spots."
