Strengthened Discount Benefits... Launch of 'Jeju Samdasoo Club'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Jeju Samdasoo is introducing a membership system to the ‘Samdasoo Application (App)’ that provides home delivery services.

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation and Kwangdong Pharmaceutical announced on the 12th that they will launch the ‘Jeju Samdasoo Club,’ which offers enhanced discount benefits to customers using the home delivery service through the Samdasoo app.

This service was planned to provide stronger benefits to frequent users of the Samdasoo app. As the subscription trend for daily necessities grows and the Samdasoo app expands based on the stable delivery advantage through Jeju Samdasoo specialized agencies, the two companies explained that they launched the club service with enhanced discount benefits.

The ‘Jeju Samdasoo Club’ is a paid service with an annual fee of 4,900 KRW, but it offers benefits exceeding the annual fee upon joining.

Upon joining and ordering Jeju Samdasoo, an additional pack of 20 bottles of Jeju Samdasoo 500mL (worth 8,600 KRW) is sent, and a 2,000 KRW discount coupon usable on the next purchase is also provided. The discount benefits per purchase round are also strengthened, with a 3% discount automatically applied for the 2nd to 4th orders, and a 5% discount from the 5th order onward.

Additionally, club members will be entered into a monthly draw to receive fashion items such as clothing made by upcycling domestic waste PET bottles as gifts.

Meanwhile, Jeju Samdasoo will also launch a PET bottle collection campaign alongside the launch of the Jeju Samdasoo Club. Based on the ‘home delivery service’ provided through over 130 specialized Samdasoo agencies nationwide when ordering via the Samdasoo app, the campaign aims to raise awareness of resource circulation. Customers who order through the Samdasoo app can leave their consumed Samdasoo bottles out, and dedicated home delivery staff will collect them.
