Jungnang-gu and Seoul Medical Center Operate 'Online Recruitment Center' for Residents Seeking Employment

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) is operating the ‘2021 Jungnang-gu Online Job Fair’ to support residents struggling to find jobs due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and economic downturn.

This fair will be held in a non-face-to-face format in line with the changing recruitment culture in the With-Corona era, providing stable jobs to job seekers and opportunities for companies to hire excellent talent, expected to revitalize the frozen employment market.

The fair will be conducted through the online job portal site ‘Incruit.’ Here, job seekers can check job openings and recruitment information from about 50 outstanding companies inside and outside the region, including S-One, TBS, and Seoul Medical Center, and also receive various additional services such as resume review and interview special lectures.

Companies wishing to participate in the fair can apply by the 18th at the Jungnang-gu Job Plus Center or the fair office.

Residents seeking employment can visit the Jungnang-gu online recruitment site by the 25th and apply to their desired companies.

First-round document passers will participate in video interviews or personality video interviews from the 26th to the 28th according to the interview schedule. Job seekers unfamiliar with video interviews, such as middle-aged and older adults, can receive assistance at the video interview room set up in the small conference room on the 2nd floor of Jungnang-gu Office.

The district plans to conduct follow-up management, including checking the hiring results of job seekers after the interviews and conducting satisfaction surveys.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “I hope this fair will help alleviate the COVID gap and employment anxiety,” and added, “We will continue to promote various job projects to create quality jobs and revitalize local employment.”

Additionally, the district is accepting applications for the employment incentive for unemployed youth on the Seoul Youth Portal until the 31st. The target is unemployed youth aged 19 to 34 residing in the district who graduated within two years of their highest education level, and each person will receive a Jungnang Love Gift Certificate worth 500,000 KRW.
