[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] LG Uplus announced on the 11th that it has decided to invest 318.1 billion KRW to build a new Internet Data Center (IDC) in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province.
The facility investment accounts for 4.16% of the company's equity capital, and the investment period is from the 1st of next month until the end of 2023.
The company explained the purpose of this investment as "the construction of a new IDC center due to increased customer demand."
