[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Property & Development announced on the 11th that CEO Ryu Je-don participated in the 'SOS (Save Our Seoul) Relay Challenge' to eradicate child abuse at Lotte World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul on the 10th.


The 'SOS Relay Challenge' is a campaign initiated by the Seoul Metropolitan Council on the 2nd of last month, aimed at preventing various forms of violence against socially vulnerable groups, including child abuse, and addressing welfare blind spots. It is conducted by posting the slogan "Look, Find, Inform, Protect" on social networking services (SNS) and nominating the next participant.


On the day, Lotte Property & Development uploaded photos of the 'SOS Relay Challenge' on the official Lotte World Tower Facebook page to show participation. From the 11th to the 17th, the content will be broadcast on the Media Chandelier, a large LED billboard inside Lotte World Mall, for one week.


CEO Ryu said, "I am honored to join the meaningful 'SOS Relay Challenge' to protect socially vulnerable groups," adding, "All employees of Lotte Property & Development and Lotte World Tower will strive to help those marginalized in society."


Meanwhile, having been nominated by Choi Hong-hoon, CEO of Lotte World, Ryu nominated Kim Jang-hwan, Chairman of Far East Broadcasting Company, and Seok Hee-cheol, CEO of the CM Business Division at Lotte Construction, as the next participants in the campaign.
