[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Jeollanam-do Hampyeong-gun announced on the 10th that on the 7th, a special lecture was held at the Theme Video Hall of Hampyeong Expo Park with about 60 facility public officials in attendance.
This special lecture was prepared to promote the development of military construction administration by strengthening the capabilities of facility public officials who are in charge of important tasks such as establishing military management plans and various development plans.
The invited lecturer was Professor Baek Ki-young, adjunct professor at Hoseo University, who gave a lecture under the theme "2026 Hampyeong-type Green New Deal: A New Leap for Hampyeong Development in 2021."
Professor Baek, who is also a member of the environmental sector of the Hampyeong-gun Urban Planning Committee, emphasized that we must consider the future vision of Hampyeong through creative thinking based on Hampyeong's eco-friendly regional characteristics while lecturing on the seriousness of the global environment and countermeasures for the climate crisis.
County Governor Lee Sang-ik encouraged, "I hope that facility public officials will not remain in existing customs or practices but will constantly research and seek measures to actively demonstrate their capabilities and perform their duties for the residents."
Meanwhile, there are a total of 82 facility public officials in Hampyeong-gun in the fields of civil engineering, architecture, cadastral urban planning, and design.
The county plans to continue creating opportunities for in-depth discussions for facility public officials to practice professionalism in facility work and resident-centered service administration through communication and empathy.
