Exchange Holds Online IR for KOSPI Market in First Half of the Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] The Korea Exchange will hold non-face-to-face investor relations (IR) sessions to provide in-depth corporate information.

On the 10th, the Exchange announced that it will jointly host the "2021 First Half KOSPI Market Online IR" with the Korea IR Council. The IR sessions will be held from the 25th of this month until the 11th of next month.

Ten companies listed on the KOSPI market have agreed to participate in the online IR. On the 25th, Lotte Confectionery and Hanmi Pharmaceutical will begin the online IR sessions. Following them, KEPCO KPS, Hanwha, ESR Kendall Square REITs, Hanwha Life, Hyundai Livart, Korean Re, Kyungdong City Gas, and JR Global REITs will participate.

Since the sessions will be conducted online in a non-face-to-face manner, investors can participate without spatial restrictions by using personal computers or mobile devices. Investors wishing to join the online video conference must apply through the Korea IR Council website. Studio broadcasts can be attended without a separate application.

The Exchange stated, "Due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, face-to-face IR has become difficult, so since last year we have been supporting online IR for companies listed on the KOSPI market. Through this, we provide in-depth corporate information and activate investment." It added, "We will continue to support online IR activities regularly and actively respond to the demand for online IR in the untact era."
