The event will be held simultaneously on Gmarket, Auction, and G9, and it is the largest in scale and benefits among all previous Big Smile Day events.
This event features participation from a record number of over 30,000 sellers, and more than 200 popular domestic and international brand companies are joining the event through strong partnerships. The number of products eligible for Big Smile Day benefits reaches approximately 30 million, with discounts of up to 78% offered.
In particular, coupon benefits provided to regular members have been greatly increased. The 20% discount coupons for Big Smile Day, which were previously focused on premium membership Smile Club, are now equally offered to regular members. There are three types of 20% discount coupons: up to 300,000 KRW off, up to 30,000 KRW off, and up to 10,000 KRW off. These coupons are provided three times each during the event period on Gmarket, Auction, and G9, once every three days. Smile Club members receive one additional coupon for each type, totaling 18 coupons, which amounts to a total discount of 6.12 million KRW when all coupon benefits are combined.
Various additional discount coupons are introduced, such as overlapping discount coupons provided by each brand and Smile Card 5% discount coupons offering up to 30,000 KRW off. On the 17th, ‘M Point Day’ will allow Hyundai Card M Points to be used up to 50%.
Unique events targeting the MZ generation are also being held. The ‘Raffle Deal,’ offered at discounts of up to 92%, will sell one popular product daily at a shocking price starting from the 10th. However, only customers who win after applying can purchase the products. Representative raffle deal items include blank airline tickets, Louis Vuitton Horizon earphones, and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, popular e-coupon products can be purchased at discounts of up to 50%. Limited quantities of popular brand products such as Baskin Robbins, Paris Baguette, and Isaac Toast will be sold.
The ‘Special Price Products,’ updated daily at midnight, will be offered at discounts of up to 78%. Popular items are selected in advance through surveys of eBay Korea employees and customers, and drastic discounts are negotiated with sellers. In particular, for four types of digital electronic products updated daily at midnight (24:00), the lowest price in the industry is guaranteed.
