[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] The Pohang City Childcare Comprehensive Support Center announced on the 10th that it will hold a 'Child Abuse Prevention Practice' contest until the 16th.
This contest was prepared to promote the creation of a stable growth environment and the enhancement of rights for infants and toddlers, in response to the rapid increase in cases of abuse of infants and toddlers in society.
Participants are families with children attending daycare centers or infants and toddlers in Pohang City. Applicants can choose one category between UCC and reports to submit their entries.
The application period, which started on the 1st, will continue until the 16th. Those interested can download the application form from the Pohang City Childcare Comprehensive Support Center website and submit their materials through the writing section in the contest category on the website.
Prizes will be awarded to one grand prize winner, two excellence award winners, two merit award winners, and two encouragement award winners, with both daycare centers and families with infants and toddlers receiving awards. Certificates and Pohang Love gift certificates will be given.
Park Jeong-tae, director of the Pohang City Childcare Comprehensive Support Center, stated, "Through this Child Abuse Prevention Practice contest, we hope all Pohang citizens will reflect on the importance of children's rights and actively participate in making the city a safe and good place for children to live."
