[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Former Future United Party (now People Power Party) Supreme Council member Lee Jun-seok defended a job-seeking YouTuber recruited as a message secretary by Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, calling him "a friend who is more diligent than anyone else and has a good sense of video production." The YouTuber had previously produced multiple YouTube videos criticizing President Moon Jae-in and was confirmed to have referred to President Moon as "Moon-ssi," sparking controversy.
On the 7th, Lee wrote on his Facebook, "There is no need to overuse the term 'far-right,'" and pointed out, "He is a friend who worked together in the camp, and I hope the absurd circular logic that being a job seeker is a disqualification for employment is not applied."
He went on to emphasize that the new message secretary appointed by Mayor Oh "has sufficient ability for the position and duties."
He also indirectly mentioned former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon, with whom he has recently clashed over the topic of 'gender conflict.' Lee sarcastically criticized Jin, calling him "the universe's strongest perverted philosopher."

He added, "'Is the term 'Moon-ssi' a symbol of the far-right? That person (former professor Jin) talks about genitals all day long," and pointed out, "Even the media headlines articles with those genital-related stories."
Meanwhile, according to multiple media reports, Mayor Oh reportedly hired conservative YouTuber A last month as a message secretary, a special-position public official. The message secretary is responsible for drafting messages that the mayor announces internally and externally.
YouTuber A reportedly has about 20,000 subscribers and has produced and posted many videos criticizing President Moon and the current government. Some video titles include "Yoon Seok-yeol! Suing Moon-ssi? Moon-ssi Falling as Defendant," and "Wolseong Manipulation Incident! Moon-ssi's Downfall Has Begun," referring to President Moon in a derogatory manner as "Moon-ssi."
One video contained a warning message urging "Prepare for national default." The video thumbnail features the red word "warning" along with phrases like "Great Debt Nation" and "Prepare for National Default."
However, since A has deleted all content previously posted on his YouTube channel, the specific details of the videos cannot be confirmed.
