KB Securities Delivers Carnations and Nutritional Supplements to Seniors in Seoul Area On the 6th, a ceremony for the 'Elderly Health Support Project for Parents' Day' was held at the Guro Hope Welfare Foundation in Seoul. [Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] KB Securities delivered potted carnations and nutritional supplements to elderly residents in the Seoul area in celebration of Parents' Day.


KB Securities announced on the 7th that it held a ceremony on the 6th at the Guro Hope Welfare Foundation in Seoul to deliver the 'Parents' Day Local Elderly Health Support' project in commemoration of Parents' Day on the 8th.


The carnations, nutritional supplements, KF94 masks, and other items delivered by KB Securities employees on that day are scheduled to be distributed to 700 elderly people who collect waste paper in seven districts of Seoul (Yangcheon, Gangseo, Gwangjin, Guro, Nowon, Dongjak, Yongsan). KB Securities has been delivering carnations and support items to elderly people from low-income families every Parents' Day for the past seven years.


Park Kanghyun, Head of Management Division at KB Securities, said, "We prepared this to provide some help to the elderly who may be under great mental stress due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and vaccinations," adding, "We will continue to do our best to support everyone so that we can overcome COVID-19 together."
