[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Seunghyun] Mokpo City announced that Mokpo Children's Sea Science Museum, Mokpo Natural History Museum, and Mokpo Skywalk have been selected as Jeollanam-do's representative safe tourist destinations for May, the month of family.

On the 7th, the city explained that the Mokpo Natural History Museum completed a three-month renewal construction and has been welcoming visitors with a new look since March.

In particular, the Mokpo Skywalk, which has emerged as a landmark of Yudal Amusement Park, and the night lighting connecting Mokpo Maritime University, Mokpo Bridge, and Gohado Island is beautiful, and it was selected as a night tourism attraction by the Korea Tourism Organization in 2020.

A city official said, "Mokpo's status is rising as a desirable destination, including being selected as a tourism hub city," adding, "We will do our best to manage quarantine at tourist sites so that tourists can visit safely and comfortably."
