[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] DGB Daegu Bank announced on the 7th that it held a 'Dundun Dosirak' delivery event, delivering homemade soup and side dishes to local senior citizens in celebration of Parents' Day.
The event, held in collaboration with the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross, was conducted as a substitute for the annual free meal service event due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Approximately 40 people, including DGB Daegu Bank employees, university student ambassadors, and volunteers from the Daegu branch of the Korean Red Cross, participated. The dosirak were delivered to about 350 vulnerable senior households in the Dalseo-gu area.
