[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Incheon Main Customs announced on the 7th that it will provide free Free Trade Agreement (FTA) consulting to companies participating in 'Bio Korea 2021' to strengthen the export competitiveness of the bio-health industry.

'Bio Korea 2021' is an exhibition where participants from over 50 countries, representing Korea's leading pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, and more, engage in business exchanges including technology, business, and investment discussions.

The exhibition will be held at COEX for three days from June 9 to 11, and Incheon Main Customs will offer free on-site consulting services such as issuing certificates of origin for FTA utilization, supporting the acquisition of certified exporters by company and product, consulting on overseas customs clearance difficulties, and other customs administration support.

The consulting targets companies producing promising bio-export items such as pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics. Companies wishing to participate can apply online in advance. For inquiries, contact the Incheon Main Customs Export-Import Enterprise Support Center.

Kim Yoonsik, Commissioner of Incheon Main Customs, said, "Many companies are facing difficulties in exports due to COVID-19, but through this exhibition, we plan to increase support to expand the export base so that all participating companies can secure new export routes and overcome the crisis." He added, "We will continue to promote various customized support measures so that our companies can rapidly grow in the bio-health industry sector."
