Investment Briefing on the 14th at POSCO Tower Yeoksam, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (Chairman Kim Jeong-hwan, hereinafter referred to as KICO) announced on the 6th that it will hold an investment briefing session to revitalize private investment in the Yeongnam region industrial complexes at POSCO Tower Yeoksam on the 14th.
This event, jointly hosted by KICO's five regional headquarters in Gyeongbuk, Busan, Daegu, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan, was planned to attract private investment to the Yeongnam region industrial complexes and promote the sale of industrial complex lots.
The briefing session, targeting developers, construction companies, financial institutions, and companies residing in industrial complexes, will proceed in the order of ▲ explanation of structural advancement projects such as the Industrial Complex Environmental Improvement Fund ▲ guidance on the sale and lease of industrial complexes such as Gyeongsan General Industrial Complex and Gumi High-Tech Valley ▲ introduction of KICO-owned sites and privately developable sites within the industrial complexes. After the explanations, consultation time by region will also be provided.
A KICO official stated, "In a situation where investment has been contracted due to the economic downturn caused by COVID-19, we aim to seek vitality for regional industrial complexes by utilizing private ideas and professional capabilities," adding, "Various investment projects for innovation in industrial complexes, such as industrial infrastructure, residential convenience and cultural facilities, and corporate support facilities, are possible. We hope for active participation from developers, construction companies, financial institutions, and companies seeking new investment opportunities in the Yeongnam region, turning their attention away from the overcrowded metropolitan area."
