[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] As of 1:30 PM on the 4th, Gyeongsangnam-do announced that 19 new confirmed cases occurred since 5 PM the previous day.
By region, there are 6 in Jinju, 3 in Sacheon, 3 in Gimhae, 3 in Miryang, 2 in Geochang, and 1 each in Yangsan and Sancheong.
Among the confirmed cases in Jinju, 4 are related to a Jinju church and were confirmed positive, classified as numbers 4051~4053 and 4063. This brings the cumulative confirmed cases related to the church in Jinju to 28.
One case is a family member of a confirmed patient within the province and was classified as number 4064 after testing positive. The remaining one was tested after symptom onset and confirmed positive, classified as number 4065.
The 3 confirmed cases in Sacheon are all related to entertainment establishments and were confirmed positive, classified as numbers 4056~4058. This brings the cumulative confirmed cases related to entertainment establishments in Sacheon to 40. So far, a total of 1,400 people have been tested, with 40 positive, 1,126 negative, and 234 tests pending.
Among the confirmed cases in Gimhae, one was confirmed positive after contact with a confirmed patient from another region and classified as number 4050. One is a family member of a confirmed patient within the province and classified as number 4067. The remaining one is related to a tutoring academy in Gimhae and classified as number 4068. This brings the cumulative confirmed cases related to the tutoring academy in Gimhae to 51.
The 3 confirmed cases in Miryang were confirmed positive after contact with confirmed patients from other regions and classified as numbers 4059~4061.
The 2 confirmed cases in Geochang were confirmed positive after contact with confirmed patients within the province and classified as numbers 4054 and 4055.
The single confirmed case in Yangsan is a worker at a food factory in Yangsan and was confirmed positive, classified as number 4066. This brings the cumulative confirmed cases related to the food factory in Yangsan to 16.
The single confirmed case in Sancheong is an overseas entrant and was confirmed positive, classified as number 4062.
Accordingly, the cumulative confirmed cases in the province have increased to a total of 4,065 (466 hospitalized, 3,584 discharged, 15 deceased).
