Introduction to Edutech, Educational Content, and Green Smart Future School Related Services and Products
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Korea Education Expo, the largest education exhibition in Asia, will be held for three days starting from the 17th at COEX in Seoul. A total of 220 companies will showcase services and products related to edutech, educational content, and green smart future schools.
This exhibition has confirmed participation from a total of 220 companies including ▲EBS ▲Naver Cloud ▲Next Challenge ▲Roborobo ▲SAMT (Apple distributor) ▲Campus Mentor ▲Codable ▲Crazy ▲Funus ▲Hyosung ITX ▲Huteco, among others.
The exhibition, themed "Education is Future," will cover the growth direction of the recently spotlighted edutech industry and trends in the global education market.
Among the participating companies, 'Cubroid,' which designs smart artificial intelligence (AI) robots and coding blocks, will introduce the process of understanding coding through play and the principles of robot operation. 'Netlearning,' the number one company in online training for Japanese companies and schools, will showcase the special features and effects of open badges that function as digital certificates and authentication.
The National Lifelong Learning City Council, consisting of 177 cities and 75 education support offices for the purpose of mutual sharing and cooperation among lifelong learning cities, will provide a communication session under the theme "New Changes in Lifelong Learning Platforms" through the exhibition.
This year, considering the COVID-19 situation, a 'Global Smart Learning' booth will be operated where education companies from around the world participate remotely. Representative edutech companies and educational institutions from countries including Denmark, Hungary, Japan, Victoria in Australia, Sweden, Finland, and Israel will gather in one place to exchange educational content representing each country.
On the 17th and 18th, the 'International Education Conference (EDUCON 2021),' where prominent figures in the domestic and international education industry gather, will be held simultaneously to communicate about the current status and trends of the global education market. This conference consists of a 'Plenary Session' discussing changes in the global education environment and a 'Technical Session' introducing the digital transformation of digital education sites.
For participating companies, various programs combining online and offline events will be provided, including an online export consultation for overseas business, live streaming on-site with influencers, consulting services for job seekers, robot experience events and AI coding experience schools for students, entrance exam strategy seminars for parents, and lectures for elementary school parents.
