[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Samsung Electronics announced on the 29th that it will donate a total of 3.7 billion KRW in social contribution funds to the Hoam Foundation. The donation, approved at the board meeting on the same day, will be used for awarding and operating the Samsung Hoam Prize in six fields: science (physics and mathematics), science (chemistry and life sciences), engineering, medicine, arts, and social service.
