[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 29th that it will hold the 2021 Gimhae Youth Festival ‘Byeol(Byul) Byeol(★) Youth!’ on the 22nd of next month.
This festival, held as the second stage of the Gimhae Youth Harmony Square, aims to establish a citywide consensus on youth development and provide a playground where young people can express their cultural sensibility and artistic talents.
The youth festival will be operated through exemplary youth awards, youth charter readings, performance stages, and online cultural experiences, reflecting the opinions of youth and the local community through meetings with related parties. The event will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel on the day of the festival.
Participation is open to all youths aged 9 to 24 residing in the area, who can participate in various forms.
Applications can be made through the city hall notices and the Gimhae City Public Reservation Portal. Those who wish to participate as performers or experience providers should apply by May 5th, and those who want to join the cultural experience can apply from May 12th to May 17th.
A Gimhae City official said, “As this festival is one where our diverse and star-like shining youths are the main characters, we ask for your great interest and active participation.”
