[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Chosun Institute of Technology has rolled up its sleeves to nurture local drone specialists in partnership with Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
On the 29th, Chosun Institute of Technology announced that it signed a 'Win-Win Cooperation Agreement for Drone Specialist Workforce Development' at the Buk-gu Office.
The signing ceremony was attended by Chosun Institute of Technology President Cho Soon-gye and Buk-gu Mayor Moon In, among other officials.
This agreement, conducted as part of the Specialized College Innovation Support Project (Type 3), was established to jointly promote drone education projects aimed at fostering the drone industry and talent development between Chosun Institute of Technology and Buk-gu.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ planning and operating specialized education and programs for nurturing talent in the 4th industrial revolution such as drones ▲ planning and operating education and programs to strengthen drone industry capabilities for Buk-gu officials and residents ▲ sharing excellent instructors related to 4th industrial revolution education such as drones between institutions ▲ and other mutually cooperative tasks.
President Cho Soon-gye said in his greeting, “It is truly welcome to sign this agreement with Buk-gu to nurture drone specialists who will play an innovative role in the era of the 4th industrial revolution,” emphasizing, “Drones are a representative innovative project that can combine and apply various technologies of the 4th industrial era such as big data, artificial intelligence, and ICT.”
He added, “Taking this agreement as an opportunity, we will actively work on nurturing customized specialists suitable for the local drone industry,” and “Our university and Buk-gu will not only build a mutually beneficial interactive cooperation but also produce capable talents to lead the development of the local drone industry.”
