[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 29th that it will hold the 3rd Local Land Expropriation Committee deliberation meeting in the city hall small conference room on the 3rd of next month.
The Local Land Expropriation Committee operates under the "Act on Compensation for Land, etc. for Public Projects."
The committee reviews land for which negotiated compensation between the demander and the project implementer has not been reached due to reasons such as low compensation prices or unknown residence, in order to promote public welfare and properly protect property rights, and grants expropriation rights based on the results.
At this committee meeting, decisions will be made regarding 9 land parcels (615㎡), 1 fixture, and 2 business rights related to six projects: ▲ road construction project around Seoseok Elementary School ▲ road construction project on An-gil in Junam Village (5·18 historic site) ▲ housing redevelopment maintenance project in Singa-dong ▲ urban planning facility creation project due to new apartment construction in Bangnim-dong, Nam-gu ▲ housing redevelopment maintenance project in Hakdong 4 District ▲ road construction project around Jongwon Palace Ville in Geumho-dong.
If there is an objection to the decision, an appeal can be filed with the Central Land Expropriation Committee through the Gwangju Local Land Expropriation Committee within 30 days from the date of receipt of the official copy of the decision.
