By region, there are 7 each in Jinju and Sacheon, 5 each in Changwon and Gimhae, 2 each in Tongyeong and Yangsan, and 1 in Miryang.
Among the confirmed cases in Jinju, 4 are related to the Tongyeong food factory and were confirmed positive, classified as numbers 3831, 3841, 3842, and 3846.
Among them, 3841 and 3842 are workers at the food factory, while 3831 and 3846 are contacts and family members. This brings the total confirmed cases related to the Tongyeong food factory to 30.
So far, a total of 289 people have been tested, with 30 positive, 240 negative, and 19 still under testing.
Two people are family members of confirmed cases related to a Jinju acquaintance gathering and were confirmed positive, classified as 3844 and 3845. This brings the cumulative confirmed cases related to the Jinju acquaintance gathering to 99.
The remaining one person was classified as 3843 after testing positive following contact with a confirmed case within the province.
Among the confirmed cases in Sacheon, 3 were tested positive after developing symptoms during quarantine following contact with confirmed cases within the province, classified as 3837, 3838, and 3847.
Three others tested positive after voluntarily getting tested due to symptoms, classified as 3835, 3836, and 3839.
Among them, 3836 was confirmed to be a high school student in Sacheon. The health authorities have set up a screening clinic at the school and are conducting tests.
The remaining one person is a family member of a confirmed case related to a Sacheon restaurant and was confirmed positive, classified as 3834. This brings the total confirmed cases related to the Sacheon restaurant to 63.
Among the confirmed cases in Changwon, 4 were confirmed positive after contact with confirmed cases within the province, classified as 3825, 3832, 3833, and 3850.
The remaining one person tested positive after voluntarily getting tested due to symptoms, classified as 3851.
Among the confirmed cases in Gimhae, 4 are related to a Gimhae cram school and were confirmed positive, classified as 3828, 3829, 3840, and 3849. This brings the cumulative confirmed cases related to the cram school in Gimhae to 38.
The remaining one person was classified as 3830 after testing positive following contact with a confirmed case from the metropolitan area.
Two confirmed cases in Tongyeong and two in Yangsan were confirmed positive after contact with confirmed cases within the province, classified as 3826, 3827, 3852, and 3853.
One confirmed case in Miryang tested positive after voluntarily getting tested due to symptoms, classified as 3848.
Accordingly, the cumulative confirmed cases in the province have increased to a total of 3,850 (482 hospitalized, 3,354 discharged, 14 deceased).
