Hyosung TNC employees will start a campaign to use personal cups in the office from the 3rd of next month as part of reducing single-use products in daily life. Earlier in February, Kim Yongseop, CEO of Hyosung TNC, participated in an eco-friendly campaign, and this time about 460 employees at the Mapo and Banpo headquarters will join together. They decided to eliminate single-use items, including paper cups in the headquarters' pantries. Employees will have a transition period until the end of this month where they use both cups and single-use products, and from next month, they will use personal cups. The company will cover the cost of purchasing cups. Last year, the company used about 190,000 paper cups, and reducing this is expected to cut annual carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 2 tons.
