KT announced on the 29th that it has released two new advertisements that easily showcase the core ‘ABC (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud)’ technologies and services of a ‘digital platform company (Digico).’ The voice acting in these ads was done by actress Youn Yuh-jung, the first Korean to win an Academy Award for acting for the recent film ‘Minari.’

The ads feature KT’s AI and cloud technologies implemented in real settings. Both ads have narration by actress Youn Yuh-jung, who explains AI and cloud technologies in a conversational manner.

The ‘Yongsan IDC Center’ ad, set against the backdrop of KT’s Yongsan Data Center which opened last year, demonstrates how KT’s technology safely protects the valuable data of Korean citizens domestically rather than on overseas servers. The ‘AI Robot’ ad, starring an AI robot actually used at the Daegu Marriott Hotel, depicts a scenario where the AI hotel robot promptly and accurately fulfills customer requests.

Last month, KT released a series of seven 6-second digital videos titled ‘DIGICO KT Doodle’ on YouTube, which have garnered over 56 million views, attracting attention as a new form of marketing technique.
