[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] CJ Nanum Foundation announced on the 29th that it has published the 6th Dream Growth Literary Contest anthology titled "The Room Where Dreams Grow" in celebration of Children's Day.
CJ Nanum Foundation will sell the "The Room Where Dreams Grow" book online from the 3rd of next month and at offline bookstores nationwide from the 6th. All proceeds from sales will be used for educational support projects for underprivileged children and youth.
"The Room Where Dreams Grow" is a book that compiles award-winning works from the annual literary contest held by CJ Nanum Foundation since 2015, targeting regional children's centers and group homes nationwide. The foundation conducts various cultural creativity and character education programs to help children and youth grow into future talents. So far, over 900 children’s 870 works (including group works) have been published in the anthology.
The 6th Dream Growth Literary Contest anthology being published this time contains 23 award-winning works and interviews with the winning children, along with a total of 100 diverse works reflecting the daily life and the preciousness of people around them felt during the COVID-19 pandemic.
For this year's literary contest anthology, CJ Nanum Foundation held a contest from October 30 to November 30 last year, targeting more than 4,500 study rooms, regional children's centers, and group homes nationwide, with the theme of "Dream, Love, Courage." A total of 3,030 works were submitted.
