[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Shin Dong-bin, Chairman of Lotte Group, made a surprise visit to the baseball stadium on the 27th. It was his first visit to the stadium since the Lotte Giants vs. Busan Samsung Lions game in September 2015.
On this day, Chairman Shin visited Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, where the visiting game between the Lotte Giants and LG Twins was held, to cheer for the Lotte players.
To mark the first Jamsil game of the season, Chairman Shin arrived at Jamsil Stadium around 6:15 PM, 15 minutes before the game started. He sat in the VIP seats with CEO Lee Seok-hwan and General Manager Sung Min-gyu, wearing the team jumper and cap while watching the game.
Chairman Shin urged CEO Lee and GM Sung, saying, "Please make special efforts to manage the players' health so they can perform their best with good condition," and "Do your best to create an environment where the players can focus solely on the game."
After the game, Chairman Shin plans to deliver a set of Korean beef meat to the players' homes to wish for their success this season.
