[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] CarrySoft, which operates the children's broadcasting station CarryTV, hit a new 52-week high after rising to the price limit (30%) shortly after the opening of the KOSDAQ market on the 26th.
CarrySoft was trading at 10,000 won at around 9:09 a.m., up 29.37% from the previous trading day. This is the highest price in 52 weeks.
The company has recently attracted attention as foreign investors have been buying intensively. The securities industry views the surge in related stocks as reflecting the growth potential of the kids industry. Since most of the top domestic YouTube channels by advertising revenue deal with infant content, various business opportunities are being created in line with changing perceptions of infant and toddler play culture. In Korea, the YouTube kids-specialized channel 'CarryTV' has reached 2.01 million subscribers.
As of 9:30 a.m. on the same day, Sonokong, a character toy and animation production company, also showed strength with a 6.05% increase.
