[2021 Academy] 'Promising Young Woman' Fennell Wins Best Original Screenplay

Emerald Fennell, director of 'Promising Young Woman,' won the Best Original Screenplay award at the 93rd Academy Awards held on the 25th (local time) at Union Station and the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, beating out Lee Isaac Chung of 'Minari,' Aaron Sorkin of 'The Trial of the Chicago 7,' Darius Marder of 'Sound of Metal,' and Shaka King of 'Judas and the Black Messiah.'
