[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Bank announced on the 26th that it has selected 16 startups to participate in the startup discovery, collaboration, and nurturing program 'Hana One Q Agile Lab 11th Cohort.'
Hana One Q Agile Lab is a startup mentoring center established by Hana Bank in June 2015, which has discovered and nurtured a total of 113 startups up to the 11th cohort, creating various successful collaboration cases.
The selected startups will receive extensive support, including commercialization collaboration with business departments within Hana Financial Group's affiliates, direct and indirect investment, attempts at global expansion, and provision of individual office spaces.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, all selection procedures were conducted remotely. In particular, for the 11th cohort selection, strategic collaboration was emphasized to enable joint business promotion with group companies simultaneously with the selection, supporting company-wide startup assistance.
The startups that signed a business agreement as part of 'Hana One Q Agile Lab 11th Cohort' are ▲ Ollafintech ▲ Nullysoft ▲ Seeds Data ▲ Forty Two Maru ▲ Ddukkeobi Sesang ▲ Big Tech Plus ▲ Data Knows ▲ Small Ticket ▲ Whatsup ▲ Leehae Lifestyle ▲ WeFun ▲ CareDoc ▲ Unimeo ▲ Grade Health Chain ▲ Pet People ▲ Saenghwal Research Institute, totaling 16 companies.
Among them, equity investment has been decided for two companies. Hana Bank plans to actively link not only investments through Hana One Q Agile Lab but also with Hana Financial Group affiliates to provide comprehensive support to revitalize the startup ecosystem, which has been rigid due to COVID-19.
Kim Kyungho, Head of Future Finance Division at Hana Bank, stated, “We have achieved mutual growth by creating an environment where we can win-win through building strong partnerships with startups,” and added, “We will do our best to foster the startup ecosystem and provide active financial support to practice finance that grows together and shares happiness.”
