Jeonnam Dragons Sign Business Agreement with Jeonnam Small Business Association

Efforts for Revitalizing Local Economy and Mutual Growth Amid COVID-19 Downturn

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Jeonnam Dragons Football Club (hereinafter Dragons) announced on the 23rd that it signed a "business cooperation agreement" with the Jeollanam-do Small Business Association on the 21st.

The business agreement event was held for the Dragons and the Jeonnam Small Business Association to make joint efforts for regional development as local partners and to promote the development of both organizations through mutual cooperation.

At the signing ceremony, Dragons President Lee Kwang-su, Manager Jeon Gyeong-jun, and other club officials attended, along with Lee Gap-ju, President of the Jeollanam-do Small Business Association, and the presidents of the Small Business Associations of Gwangyang, Yeosu, Suncheon, and Gurye-gun.

Through the business agreement, the Dragons will establish a roadmap of 22 local restaurants and tourist attractions across Jeollanam-do to revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19. Additionally, the club plans to promote the Jeonnam Small Business Association through various online and offline channels such as the club’s SNS promotions and home game booth operations, and actively participate in small business events to engage closely with local small business owners.

The Jeonnam Small Business Association plans to join the Dragons’ small-scale advertising program, Dragons FS, to collaborate with the Dragons and encourage consumers to recognize and take interest in the club.

Lee Kwang-su, President of the Dragons, said, “We understand that local small business owners have been facing many difficulties as COVID-19 has prolonged. Through this agreement, although it is a small effort, we hope to support Jeonnam’s small business owners and work together to help each other and achieve mutual growth.”

Lee Gap-ju, President of the Jeonnam Small Business Association, responded, “I hope that Jeonnam Dragons and Jeollanam-do small business owners will stand shoulder to shoulder, cooperate, and become partners to overcome this crisis together.”
