1st Anniversary of Korean Air Card Launch... Special Flight for Non-Stop Sightseeing Tour Operated


[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Korean Air announced on the 23rd that it will operate a special flight for a no-landing sightseeing tour to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the launch of the 'Korean Air Card.'


The special flight will use an A380 aircraft, a large long-haul plane with 407 seats, departing from Incheon International Airport at 12:30 PM on the 29th of next month. The route will pass through Gangneung-Busan-Korean Strait-Jeju and land back at Incheon International Airport at 3 PM.


This no-landing sightseeing flight is available for reservation only to Korean Air Card customers. It will operate with a total of 270 seats, including 12 first-class seats, 94 Prestige seats, and 164 economy seats. Depending on the seat class, reservations can be made using 50,000 miles (first class), 30,000 miles (Prestige), or 10,000 miles (economy).


All passengers will receive commemorative gifts including the 'HL7530 Name Tag,' created through a design collaboration between Hyundai Card and Korean Air, as well as Korean Air amenities, KF94 masks, hand sanitizer, and hand sanitizing tissues, all included in a safety kit.


For a safe journey, all seats will strictly comply with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's social distancing and quarantine guidelines. Reservations for boarding will open at 3 PM on the 7th of next month and can be made by accessing Hanjin Travel's special reservation site through the Hyundai Card or Korean Air websites.
